AN ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN AMETHYST AND PEARL PENDANT in yellow gold, the scrolling pendant set with round cut amethysts and seed pearls.

This lovely Edwardian amethyst and seed pearl lavalier pendant is a beautiful and timeless piece. Circa early 20th century, this pendant features a classic Art Nouveau design evocative of a heart.

With a centre stone larger than typical lavalier pendants and a separately articulated dangle, this is a piece sure to flatter any outfit and any occasion. The amethysts are a vibrant colour and set in open back settings, display beautifully under all light conditions.

The pendant isn't hallmarked which is common for a piece of this age. Without hallmarks, it's hard to date the pendant exactly but we think it's likely mid-late Victorian in age, circa late 19th Century.
